Bi-coastal The Den adds editor Tania Mesta

NEW YORK CITY — Bicoastal edit house The Den (thedeneditorial.com) recently welcomed Tania Mesta to it editing roster. Mesta is a story-driven editor known for her ability to cut narratively-compelling and visually-stunning work. Born and raised in El Paso, TX, to Mexican parents, she has embraced both Mexican and American culture.

Mesta’s path to editing began in college, where she majored in film and TV. She began her editing career at Rock Paper Scissors, and then worked as an editor at Lost Planet. Her credits include projects for Calvin Klein, Prada, Kraft and Instagram.

“What I like about the medium of film is it can inspire empathy and really immerse you in someone else's story,” she explains. “If done correctly, a story can build bridges and understanding for the people around us.”

“Tania joining The Den feels like fate,” says Rachel Seitel, co-founder of The Den. “Not only is she an incredibly talented, driven, and dedicated editor, she is also the perfect person to help us establish and grow The Den’s NYC presence. We cannot wait to begin this journey with her.”
