NASHVILLE — Marc Mannino has joined Howling Music (www.howlingmusic.com) as executive producer, West Coast. The veteran music industry executive, who most recently served as executive producer at San Francisco-based Swell Music + Sound, will spearhead new business development for West Coast advertising agencies, brands and other music clients.
Mannino brings broad experience in business development, strategic partnerships and music licensing. At Swell, he oversaw original music production, sound design and sound mixing for brands, including Credit Karma, Facebook, Fitbit, Square, Golden State Warriors, Uber and Lyft. His previous experience includes two years as director of music licensing and sales at Elias Arts, where he focused on library and original music production, music supervision and sonic branding for East Coast accounts. He began his career in product development at Atlantic Records.
“Marc’s expertise will be a huge asset as we continue to build relationships and broaden our profile,” says Howling Music creative director, Ryan Claus. “He knows about a lot of stuff we've never even heard of."
For his part, Mannino says he’s a longtime fan of Howling Music, both as an original music house and burgeoning music library.
“They're surprising,” says Mannino. “I thought these guys were mostly insane or heavily medicated, but it turns out they're actually just really good at what they do.”
