MONTREAL – Marie-Christine Jean is joining the management committee of Mels (www.mels-studios.com) as vice president, post production & business development. She has over 17 years of experience in the cultural and media industries, including four years as a director at Mels. Mels Studios and Postproduction is part of TVA Group (tva.ca).
“Marie-Christine is the ideal choice to translate Mels’ modern, innovative vision into strategic action on the ground,” explains Mels president, Martin Carrier. “The energy and managerial expertise she has demonstrated in the course of spearheading major projects will stand her in good stead in her new role.”
Marie-Christine will be responsible for three Mels divisions: sound and picture post, distribution, and business development & sales. Her appointment comes on the heels of Geneviève Brodeur’s appointment as vice president, studios & business development back in April. They will work together closely to promote the full range of integrated services that make Mels a unique destination in the industry.
