BLVD MTL becomes Rodeo FX Audio

MONTREAL — BLVD MTL, the audio post production division of Rodeo FX (rodeofx.com), will now operate as Rodeo FX Audio. The company acquired BLVD MTL in 2020, adding to a lineup of services that includes VFX, animation, advertising and experiences.

Rodeo FX Audio is led by Guillaume Houde, who has 20 years of experience as a sound designer and mixer. As director general and chief creative officer of Rodeo FX Audio, he will oversee a team of 11, with hopes of further expansion.

“My passion for audio lives in the creative process,” says Houde. “I look forward to bringing our team and our expertise onto even bigger projects, and getting more immersed and involved in them.”

Marc Rémillard and David Beaulieu complete the studio’s trio of sound designers/mixers. Samuel Galer will act as the manager of production.

Rodeo FX Audio is redefining its original music services to better meet a growing demand of original content. This division, led by musical director Marc Rémillard, offers access to an experienced team of composers, musicians and partners, as well as project support from the creation of sound identity, all the way to negotiating music licensing rights.

“I can’t wait to see how far this team can go,” said Rodeo FX founder, Sébastien Moreau. “I have complete confidence in this team, and over the past two years, I have been able to observe the talent that lives within these studios.”
