DALLAS – Jennell Renai has joined Charlieuniformtango (http://charlieuniformtango.com) as a director. The announcement was made by Hal Dantzler, Charlieuniformtango’s executive producer/creative content.
Renai started her career as a video editor and motion graphics designer, giving her a strong understanding of the basic elements needed to craft a compelling narrative. As a director, she can visualize a project’s edit in her head before ever stepping on set.
She attended Hawai'i Pacific University on a full dance scholarship, and graduated with a degree in economics, with a focus on poverty and the economies of developing nations. Renai has directed work for Tito's Handmade Vodka, Rocket Mortgage, Quicken Loans, Asics and Ikea. She has also worked on projects with Olympic athletes, such as Deena Kastor and Jordan Burroughs. At the heart of everything she does is a deep-rooted desire to make the world a kinder, more equitable and joyful place.
