NEW YORK CITY — Audio post house Heard City (https://heardcity.com) has promoted Jackie James to head of production/EP and Liana Rosenberg to executive producer.

James began her career at a feature animation & commercial production/post studio with locations in Dallas and Los Angeles. After starting in production, she soon transitioned to the business development team, working closely with seasoned sales directors and mentors, and traveling throughout the US. While in Dallas, she also freelanced as a production coordinator, and had the opportunity to work on the filmmaker services teams for the Dallas International & Lonestar Film Festivals. In 2015, after about five years of building her career in sales, she joined a music/audio company as director of development. She joined the Heard City team in April of 2017, running the DUMBO location, and continued building the business out in Brooklyn while working cohesively alongside the Manhattan leadership team.
Rosenberg has a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters degree from Universidad de Alcala in Spain. She has gained considerable knowledge over the last decade working in the post production industry, having held multiple leadership and management roles, including those of senior producer, head of production and executive producer. She joined the studio in late 2021 with credits that include the delivery of various types of media, including animation, podcasts, feature films, television/streaming series and commercials.
