Kristin Mann named head of production at Pacific Standard Sound

LOS ANGELES – Pacific Standard Sound (www.pacificstandardsound.com) has announced the addition of Kristin Mann to its team as head of production. The sound design company is known for its work on the Oscar-nominated films Roma and The Batman, as well as for its contributions to the Emmy-winning series Stranger Things.

Mann is a seasoned producer who brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a robust creative vision to her new role. Raised in central Arkansas, she cut her teeth in the industry as an associate producer, contributing to the production of globally-recognized films such as Mud, Midnight Special and the documentary Voyage of Time. She served as producer on the independent feature Poor Boy, which premiered at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Her feature film To The Stars premiered the Sundance Film Festival in 2019 and was later released by Samuel Goldwyn Films in 2020. Shortly thereafter, Lionsgate release her film The Quarry. 

Most recently, Mann produced the romantic comedy What Happens Later, directed by Meg Ryan and starring Ryan and David Duchovny, set for a US theatrical release by Bleecker Street. In her new role as head of production, she will blend her deep understanding of storytelling and film production with the creative ethos of the company.
