BERKSHIRE, UK – Molinare Creative Group’s Pip Studios (pipstudios.com), which specializes in localization and accessibility for the film, TV and games industries, has appointed Shannon Sewell head of client services and business development.
Sewell started out in broadcast recruitment, where she built her knowledge of the broadcast ecosystem. Since then, she has contributed to various organizations, including Ortana Media Group, part of Iyuno-SDI Group. At Ortana, she oversaw the global media asset management (MAM), software integration platform and tape digitization services. Following her time there, Sewell joined Take1, shortly before its acquisition by captioning and transcription company, Verbit. Her role focused on retaining and growing Take1’s client base, as well as expanding the company’s offering by selling Vitac and Verbit products.
In her new role at Pip Studios, Sewell will work with the studio’s leadership team in delivering their growth strategy for 2024, which includes diversifying its offerings into vertical markets alongside further growth of its film localization services.
