Director Vincent Rene-Lortie’s Invincible is nominated for an Oscar in the Best Live Action Short Film category. The short is based on the true story of Marc-Antoine Bernier, a 14-year-old boy and his quest for eternal freedom. The film looks at the subject of mental health and how it needs to be spoken about more freely in order for the world to truly understand the level of suffering a person goes through.
Invincible recounts the last 48 hours in the life of the 14-year old.
