Xencelabs introduces 16-inch, 4K OLED Pen Display

VANCOUVER, WA — Xencelabs (www.xencelabs.com) has introduced its new Pen Display 16, a pen-on-screen 4K OLED solution for creative content professionals. The Xencelabs Pen Display 16’s footprint, quality build, value-added features and pricing make it well suited for professional content creators, as well as for educators and students in art and design programs.

Designed with portability and convenience in mind, the Xencelabs Pen Display 16 is slim, at just .47 inches (12mm), and light, weighing 2.67 pounds. The unit will connect to any compatible PC, Mac or Linux laptop device via a single USB-C to USB-C cable. A 10-bit hub is included for those wanting to connect through HDMI or Display Port.

The Pen Display 16 features an edge-to-edge, super-AG etched glass surface that offers a natural drawing experience with reduced glare. The display supports up to 1.07 billion colors and features five factory-calibrated color spaces: Adobe RGB (98 percent), P3-DCS (98 percent), sRGB (99 percent), Rec 2020 and Rec 709. The display’s aluminum-back housing ensures rapid heat dissipation without any disruptive fan noise.

The unit comes with two pressure-sensitive pens: a three-button pen with a wider barrel featuring three customizable buttons, and a thin pen for those who are looking for the feel and effects produced by a pencil or thinner brush.

The Quick Keys remote allows users to create specific shortcuts to boost productivity. Each of the eight keys has an OLED display that shows the user-defined name of the shortcut. A color-coded dial is also featured for zoom, rotate, pan and brush size functionality.

The Xencelabs Pen Display 16 Bundle is priced at $1,249 and includes the Pen Display 16, Mobile Easel stand, two pens, cables, driver, Quick Keys remote, and protective carrying case. An Essentials package is also available for $999, with less accessories.
