LOS ANGELES - Nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards were announced today, the result of the largest voting member turnout in the history of the Emmys. The Studio tied the record for the most nominations in a single year in the Comedy category with 23 (set by
The Bear in 2024), while
Severance led this year’s Drama category with 27 nominations. Seth Rogen received three nominations for performance, writing and directing for The Studio.
Shows that also received multiple nominations include The Penguin (24), The White Lotus (23), The Last of Us (16), Andor (14) and Hacks (14). Adolescence, The Bear and The Pitt each received 13 nominations.
Final-round of online voting begins August 18th. The 77th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, September 14th on CBS Television Network, and will stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the telecast.
The 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held over two consecutive nights - Saturday and Sunday, September 6th and 7th - at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live. An edited presentation of the ceremonies will air Saturday, September 13th on FXX.
