MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — Atomos’ (atomos.com) new Ninja TX monitor/recording is its most advanced model to date, sporting an all-new design with SDI, CFexpress, integrated cloud features and fast performance. While other Ninja models only offer HDMI connections, Ninja TX features both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs, along with integrated Wi-Fi and AirGlu timecode technology. Its new industrial design improves thermal efficiency, reduces weight and enhances portability.
The five-inch form factor accommodates CFexpress Type-B media and recording to USB-C external drives. The new AtomOS Linux-based operating system provides faster performance, over-the-air updates and a streamlined user experience.
The Ninja TX’s five-inch, 1,500-nit screen is 50 percent brighter than other Ninjas and offers pro monitoring features that include El Zone false color, focus peaking, waveform, RGB parade and vectorscope. With integrated Wi-Fi and AirGlu, it ships ready for cloud workflows, including 20GB of free AtmoSphere storage. Creators can upload footage directly to Frame.io, Dropbox or other camera-to-cloud services, or stream via NDI 6/HX3, enabling realtime collaboration and fast delivery from anywhere.
Ninja TX will ship at the end of August for $999.
