Editor Cami Starkman signs with Nomad

SANTA MONICA, CA - Editor Cami Starkman has joined post studio Nomad (www.nomadedit.com), which has locations in New York, London, Los Angeles, Austin and Tokyo. Starkman began her career at Sunset Edit and later The Den Editorial, where she spent several years editing an expansive range of commercials, music videos and documentaries. Her commercial credits include campaigns for Puma, Mercedes-Benz, Calvin Klein, Savage X Fenty, Samsung, Google, Tommy Hilfiger, Absolut Vodka, Starbucks and Netflix. 

Her editorial touch has also shaped visuals for global superstars such as Katy Perry, Eminem, Mariah Carey, Solange and Nick Jonas. She even edited a project for Cher, with the artist sitting at her side. As for her long-form credits, Starkman co-edited the HBO documentary special Insecure: The End, a poignant farewell to Issa Rae’s series. Tending The Wild is an Emmy-winning KCET documentary that explores the ecological wisdom of Indigenous communities across California. She also brought her nuanced touch to the food and travel docu-series Searching For Soul Food, which earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for "Best Single-Camera Editing."
