Editor Flaura Atkinson joins Church Edit

LONDON - Church Edit (edit.church) continues to expand its roster with the recent signing of editor Flaura Atkinson, whose portfolio spans commercials, music videos, and both short- and long-form narrative films. Atkinson's work is often comedy-driven, with a taste for the absurd. She will be represented for US work alongside her UK representation at Stitch.

Atkinson studied TV production at Bournemouth University before beginning her career at Peepshow Post. From there, she moved up the ladder and honed her craft as an editor at The Quarry before signing with Stitch. She brings over a decade of experience in post, with commercial credits that include campaigns for global brands such as Adidas, Ikea, Nespresso, McDonald’s, Netflix, Gucci and Burberry.

Her narrative credits include editing several award-winning short films with director Eros V, the latest being Meat Puppet (2024), a twisted comedy-horror about a puppet and the perils of arrested development. Other titles with Eros V include Right Place, Wrong Tim; Good Boy; and Double Tap.

“I am so excited to be joining Church,” says Atkinson. “I'm a huge admirer of (Church Edit founder) Mah (Ferraz), both what she's achieving in her career and of her creative vision for the company. The work being done at Church is incredibly exciting. There's obviously a massive amount of skill and passion in everything they do there, and I am honored to be amongst such talented and innovative editors.”
