Editor Troy Charbonnet joins Modern Post

LOS ANGELES - Creative editor/storyteller Troy Charbonnet has joined Modern Post (https://modernpost.com), bringing with him a diverse body of work that spans advertising, music and culture-driven narratives. Charbonnet has collaborated with Apple, Spotify, Mercedes-Benz, Adidas and Nike, and has also edited visuals for artists such as Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak. His work on Silk Sonic’s Leave the Door Open earned an MTV VMA for Best Editing.

“We've been following Troy's work for a while," shares Modern Post executive producer Andrew Illson. "He has consistently proven that he is able to tap into his creative approach and bring a unique perspective and understanding to each project. As soon as we connected, it was clear that he would be a perfect fit for our growing roster. We're thrilled to have him on board and excited to see where his talent will lead.”

Originally from Irvine, CA, Charbonnet began experimenting with stop-motion videos, short films and homemade music videos at a young age, shaping an early understanding of movement, pacing and performance. He received his BFA in film production from Chapman University and has been editing professionally since 2017. Some of his additional credits include work for Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Lauryn Hill and Tate McRae.
