Flyover now licensing their aerial cinematography

DENVER, CO - Flyover, which produces an immersive flight ride experience that takes guests on a journey over some of the world’s most stunning landscapes, has launched a content licensing division that will make its proprietary films available to select immersive entertainment venues and attractions worldwide.

Operated by Pursuit Attractions (pursuit.com) and Hospitality Inc., Flyover currently has experiences in Las Vegas, Vancouver, Chicago and Iceland. A partnership has already been secured with Take Flight at Wilderness Resort, which will debut Flyover’s Wonders of the American West’ in January 2026. Originally opened in 2020 as the state’s first flying theater, Take Flight will host the film’s first showing outside of Flyover locations. The experience is scheduled to run for two years.

“There are more than 50 flying theaters around the world, but few have the expertise to create their own content,” said Lisa Adams, chief operating officer and executive producer at Flyover. “Creating a truly awe-inspiring film requires a rare combination of artistry and technical precision. We’re excited to partner with attractions around the world to bring this level of quality and storytelling to new audiences.”

Known for blending real aerial cinematography with storytelling and sensory effects, Flyover has been producing flying-theater content since 2012. Its team of filmmakers, pilots and immersive experience designers use custom gyro-stabilized helicopter camera systems and custom first-person-view (FPV) drones to capture dramatic footage. Each film features original music and optional pre-show acts that complement the main experience. Unlike other flying films, Flyover collaborates with Gabriel Kocher, a world-class drone racing pilot and two-time runner-up world champion, as well as acclaimed Hollywood composers and world-renowned musicians, including Elliott Wheeler, Big Dipper, and Tom Holkenborg.

“Producing a film at this level takes roughly two years of planning, scouting and shooting,” explains David Mossop, creative director of Flyover. “We work with local partners to secure access and capture locations in ways never done before. Each film then undergoes a detailed editing and integration process to ensure perfect synchronization with the theater’s motion, projection, sound and sensory effects.”
