Powerhouse VFX rebrands as Curated

NEW YORK CITY - Boutique visual effects studio Powerhouse VFX has changed its name to Curated (www.curatedvfx.com). The studio's credits include work for Apple TV+'s Silo, Paramount+'s 1923 and Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again. The rebrand coincides with new leadership additions and strategic hires.

Powerhouse VFX got its start in New York and now has grown with locations in Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver and Atlanta. Now branded as Curated, the studio has close integration with post production partner Company 3 (www.company3.com), which specializes in color grading and finishing.

“Curated is more than a new name, it’s our philosophy in action,” says managing director Ryan Cunningham. "We’re building a studio that fuses high-end artistry with operational agility across North America. As a creative entity within the Company 3 portfolio of talent, Curated also benefits from a shared pipeline with Company 3’s post and color teams, providing a seamless post experience for major feature and episodic productions."

New appointments include senior creatives Michael Cliett and Kevin Blank, both of whom bring decades of experience across episodic and feature VFX business, along with multiple Emmy and VES Award recognitions. Ed Mendez continues in his leadership role, ensuring continuity and creative excellence. To support growth and client engagement, Gina Fiore joins Curated as executive producer. Fiore brings a track record of successfully building client partnerships and managing high-end productions.

“We are excited to formally incorporate Curated into the Company 3 post production suite of talent,” says Jonathan Hoffman, president of Company 3. “This partnership will allow our creative clients to work with best-in-class VFX talent within the Company 3 workflow to ensure the highest level of artistry and collaboration while benefiting from the Company 3 pipeline to ensure a seamless post workflow that will deliver both great product and efficiency."
