Sound Lounge unveils new ADR stage

NEW YORK CITY - Audio post house Sound Lounge (https://soundlounge.com) recently unveiled its new ADR stage. The recording stage measures 18-feet by 16-feet, and features a 115-inch projection screen, making it loop-group friendly. Theater-quality M&K speakers provide a cinematic playback experience, ensuring dialogue fits seamlessly into the final mix.

“This new studio elevates everything we’re already known for at Sound Lounge: a client focused experience and seamless tech,” notes ADR mixer Patrick Christensen. “We want our clients to feel relaxed, confident and taken care of from the moment they step off the elevator.”

Sound Lounge has been offering ADR services for nearly 20 years. The new room is designed with collaboration in mind and takes a 90-degree turn to offer improved sight lines between talent and the control room. A re-engineered talkback system enhances communication across rooms and remote sessions alike.

“Tight post calendars and busy talent schedules can make records a challenge,” notes executive producer Rob Browning. “It’s easy to build a room, but a space is only as good as the team running the session. Whether it’s a child actor recording for the first time or an Oscar-winning actress between Broadway performances, there’s no team with a better mix of technical expertise and interpersonal acumen.”

The ADR stage is outfitted with the latest Avid Pro Tools hardware and software, while custom acoustical treatments blend form and function.
