Editor Chris Amos signs with Picture North

LOS ANGELES - Boutique production and post production company Picture North (https://picturenorth.com) recently signed editor Chris Amos, who has experience cutting a range of work that spans nearly every genre, tone and format.

Amos' long-form work includes major comedy specials, such as Make Happy by Bo Burnham and Comedy Camisado by Hannibal Buress for Netflix. He also worked on 8 by Jerrod Carmichael, which premiered on HBO, and edited the feature documentary Songs About F—ing, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. His work on the documentary Dear Glenn for Yamaha won a Cannes Silver Lion and tells the story of using AI to revive pianist Glenn Gould's artistry. Other credits include cutting the award-winning Make It for Squarespace, and campaigns for Hanes, Dick’s Sporting Goods, GMC, Meta, Samsung, Planet Fitness, Ikea, Converse and Google, among others.

“After working in the industry for many years, I realized that all of the work I enjoyed the most — which also happened to be my best work — was done with my friends," Amos shares. "I’ve known (director) Ryan (Patrick) and (EP/founder) Martin (Rodahl) since college, so it seemed like a great opportunity to team up with them again and continue that trend.”
