New stock library represents those disabilities

ATLANTA & OAKLAND - LaVant Consulting, the disability-centered consulting firm, and creative studio Where The Buffalo Roam (WTBR), have teamed up to launch All in Frame (https://www.allinframestock.com), a free stock-photo collection led by disabled creatives. The library is designed to give marketing, advertising and creative professionals the tools needed to tell authentic stories about disabilities.

All in Frame launches with a collection of more than 100 high-quality, license-free photo assets representing a diverse community of people with visible and non-visible disabilities.

“As the disabled community remains underrepresented and often stereotyped in stock imagery, the media and advertising industry must recognize its responsibility in shaping how disability is portrayed in society,” explains Andraéa LaVant, CEO of LaVant Consulting. “Yet creators have long cited cost and a lack of authentic resources as barriers to change. All in Frame removes those barriers, providing the industry with resources to do better and make disability representation not just authentic, but commonplace."

The collection features people across a broad range of ages, races, genders, professions and life experiences in authentic everyday settings, from workplaces, cafes and classrooms to family life, fitness and healthcare. Rather than centering disability as limitation or inspiration, the imagery reflects the richness and complexity of disabled people's everyday lives. The website is fully accessible, including alt-text descriptions for every photo.

Authenticity extended far beyond the camera. More than half of the nearly 100-person cast and crew identified as disabled, shaping every aspect of the production. The shoot took place over three days in the metro Atlanta area, where LaVant Consulting is headquartered. The city itself provided a backdrop for the American South, a region commonly overlooked in disability and media representation.

Funding for the shoot combined a grant secured by LaVant with a matching financial contribution and pro bono creative and production services from WTBR.

“This shoot demonstrates what truly inclusive storytelling can look like,” shares Nilou Safinya, executive producer and creative director at WTBR. “LaVant’s deep expertise in disability culture, language and strategy complemented our creative and production expertise, while our cast and crew brought their unique talents and lived experiences to ensure every image authentically reflected their community and their story.”
