MONTREAL - Discreet (www.discreet.com) released its new generation of streaming and encoding software Cleaner XL for Windows. The new software can deliver projects in over 60 formats including Windows Media 9, QuickTime 6 and M-PEG 4.
A technological leap from Cleaner V.5.0, Xl features an entirely new architecture that includes major performance improvements, an innovative user interface and new workflow enhancements. XL includes over 180 professional presets and filters with total control over encoding parameters, allowing artists to fine-tune projects for highest quality output.
Other new features include a document-based interface that allows users to prepare one job while processing others; new Watch Folders with drag-and-drop capabilities and job templates streamline workflow. XL is optimized to harness the power og multiple processors and Intel's new Hyper-Threading technology. Cleaner XL integrates with virtually all existing PC software tools from Avid, Pinnacle, Macromedia and others. Cleaner XL is available for $179.
