LONDON, UK - Capital FX, here, recently purchased its third Fury film recorder in an effort to meet client needs for output for both feature films and shorts from DV, Digi Beta, HD, and scanned S16mm and 35mm data. Capital FX is a digital and optical effects company offering a variety of services for film post production. The studio specializes in front and end titles, visual effects work, trailers, and foreign versions. The Celco systems allow Capital FX to accommodate all digital film-out requirements on multiple film stocks.
Jim Davey, director of digital services at Capital FX, says, "The look from the CELCO film recorder is the closest to the original shot."
John Constantine, director of marketing for Celco adds the Furys are superior in both speed and sharpness to laser and CRT recorders, allowing Capital FX to meet clients' short time schedules while providing high quality images.
