Audio: Endless Noise expands with work for Amazon Kids

SANTA MONICA, CA — Music production studio Endless Noise (www.endlessnoise.com), which regularly creates music and sound for TV commercials, recently expanded into music production for children’s entertainment, including two Amazon Kids shows.

The studio handled composing, arranging, recording, and mixing of the original score for If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. The show follows the adventures of Mouse, Oliver, Moose, Pig, Cat, Dog and other friends as they make numerous discoveries, while sometimes creating a mess. Artist Lisa Loeb wrote additional music for select episodes.

For The Stinky & Dirty Show, Endless Noise handed arranging, recording, producing and mixing of the songs that are featured in the episodes using character voices. They also mastered the soundtrack, on which the songs were performed by songwriter Dan Bern.

Composing, producing and mastering is performed using Logic Pro X and Pro Tools, with a Universal Audio Apollo 8P interface. Mixing is performed on ATC SCM45A Pros. Live steel string and nylon string guitars, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin, shakers, tambourines, hand claps, and stomps were recorded with various mics from the studio’s, though their main microphone is a Neumann U87. The studio also uses a palette of sampled instruments from Vienna Ensemble Pro (winds, strings, brass and vibes), Native Instruments Kontakt (organs, effected pianos, celeste, glockenspiel, drum kits) and Spectrasonics (upright Bass, Pads, synths).
