AMSTERDAM – Seattle’s Automatic Duck
(www.automaticduck.com), the developer of Timeline Integration Engine
technology, is showing Pro Import AE 4.0 to the European market for the first
time. The application simplifies importing Avid and Final Cut Pro projects into
Adobe’s After Effects.
The latest release addresses the recent launch of Adobe
Creative Suite 3, the industry shift to Intel-based Mac systems, and the need
for improved support for HDV, DVCProHD and XDCAM formats for Final Cut Pro
users.
With Version 4.0, users now have supports for Multiclips
from Final Cut Pro. They can also import Apple Motion projects with Particle
and Replicator layers coming into After Effects. Avid Timewarp effects are now
converted to Time Remapping, and enhanced effect coverage has been added to
include Video Strobe, FCP Basic 3D and Dip to Color transitions.
Pro Import AE 4.0 debuted at the NAB show in April and is
available for $495. Upgrades specials are available for V.3 users.
