March 9, 2006 –  LOS ANGELES - Rez-Illusion (www.re-illusion.com) recently completed work on visual effects for Fox Searchlight’s The Hills Have Eyes. According to the studio’s VFX supervisor/founder, Jamison Goei, Rez-Illusion created 136 visual effects shots for the film.

March 8, 2006 –  MUNICH, GERMANY – Arri will show a speed upgrade to its Arriscan film scanner at this year’s NAB show. The company will demonstrate a scanning speed of three frames per second for native 3K scanning with no compromises in image quality.
