SIGGRAPH: CURIOUS LABS SHOWS SHADE 7

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Curious Labs (www.curiouslabs.com) is at this year's SIGGRAPH with Shade 7, its 3D graphics suite. The tool will begin shipping within the next two weeks and is geared toward designers, illustrators and architechts.
Shade 7 is a Mac OSX and Windows application. The tool provides intuitive Bezier curve/surface modeling for quick 3D design creation, and a set of plug-ins for finishing projects.
The company is offering Shade 7 in three variations. The entry-level Designer LE version is priced at $99. Shade Standard is aimed at designers and artists, and is priced $199 ($249 after launch). Shade Professional, which is designed for networked rendering, is priced at $999. |
