The company is led by three principals: keyboardist/sound designer/author Peter Gorges, Steinberg Media Technologies co-founder Manfred Ruerup and film composer Hans Zimmer.
Wizoo products include Darbuka, Latigo and WizooVerb. Wizoo also provides components for other virtual instrument products throughout the industry.

Currently released Wizoo-branded products will continue to be distributed worldwide through Digidesign's M-Audio business unit. All future products will be branded and distributed by Digidesign.
