In conjunction with the announcement, composer/founder Stephen Arnold has named Michelle King (pictured) to the new position of director, East Coast sales. In 1997, King founded her own company, MLK Management, which specialized in film scoring work on behalf of various musicians. Prior to founding MLK, King was director of special projects for Elias Associates. She also worked at Bumstead Productions, where she was general manager and Mute Records as assistant to the president. Her background includes experience in production sales, marketing, event planning and artist and label management.
In her new post, King will seek East Coast-based new business opportunities from clients working across all media genres, including television, film, commercials, the Internet, and multimedia presentations.
