AJA RELEASES FREE DATA-CALCULATING IPHONE APP

The app allows users to calculate their storage consumption and data capturing requirements. It supports a wide array of video compression formats, including Apple ProRes, DVCProHD, HDV, XDCAM, DV, RGB and YUV uncompressed, as well as NTSC, PAL, 1080i, 1080p, 720p, 2K and 4K video standards.
Settings can be entered via an intuitive user interface. Durations can be entered in units of days, hours, seconds or even timecode frame count. And the summary page allows users to review results and even deliver the data via email.
