Blackmagic offering free Resolve training in SF

MILPITAS, CA — Blackmagic Design will host a series of free DaVinci Resolve for Mac training workshops on January 28 at the Tenth Annual FCPUG San Francisco SuperMeet. The event is one of the largest gatherings of FCP, Avid and Adobe editors, HDSLR filmmakers, and digital content creators in California, and includes free workshops, networking opportunities and the ability to connect with dozens of software and hardware developers.

Blackmagic Design will host three workshops offering training and tips for users of the DaVinci Resolve for Mac nonlinear color correction system. Rich Montez, founder and owner of LA’s Whipping Post Services, will host the sessions, which will provide an introduction to Resolve for Mac, showcase proper set up and integration tips, provide basic how-to’s, and detail features and capabilities.

The sessions are scheduled for: 11:30-12:30pm, 1:00-2:00pm, and 2:30-3:30 pm. The SuperMeet (www.supermeet.com) is taking place at the Mission Bay Conference Center UCSF in San Francisco.
