BURLINGTON, MA — Avid will host a Webinar on Tuesday, November 20, featuring the editing team behind the Emmy-winning television comedy, Modern Family. Editor Ryan Chase and assistant editor Shaheed Qaasim will offer tips on Media Composer, ScriptSync, and cutting one of television’s funniest shows.

Case is currently on her fourth season with the hit ABC comedy, which earned her an Emmy for the pilot episode. She has also worked on ABC's Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, NBC's 1600 Penn, and the Judd Apatow-produced Web series Acting with James Franco. Qaasim is on his third season of Modern Family, and has also worked on Deadwood, Battlestar Galactica, Hung, and Barbershop.

 

The hour-long Webinar will provide viewers with insight on using Media Composer and ScriptSync to find the best performances, and how trimming an edit can make something funny — or not. Ryan and Shaheed will also answer audience questions following the presentation.
