Empire Post adapting golf show to E-book
LOS ANGELES — Empire Post Media (www.empirepostmedia.com) has acquired e-book rights to "A Fairway to Heaven," the English TV/DVD series which illustrates the architecturally ideal golf course. The E-book will feature text, interviews, stills, video and interactive segments in 3D. Production is underway and release is scheduled for the end of the summer.

The original two-hour television show featured the world's greatest golf course architects, writers and personalities selecting eighteen golf holes from the world's great golf courses when combined would make the perfect golf course. Well known holes such as Pebble Beach's 8th hole, Augusta's 13th hole and Scotland's St. Andrews' 17th hole were selected, along with lesser known gems such as South Africa's Durban CC 3rd hole, England's Woodhall Spa's 12th hole and Japan's Hirono's 15th hole. The show featured comments from golf legends such as Gary Player, Tom Weiskopf, John Daly and Ben Crenshaw.

World famous golf architect Tom Doak, also a finalist for designing and building the new 2016 Olympic golf course in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, co-Produced the show with Empire CEO Peter Dunn.

"As a golfer myself, I know that playing famous golf holes where the golf legends have walked is a tremendous thrill," says Dunn. "We hope to offer golfers all over the world, who have no chance of getting on these exclusive courses, a lifelike 3D interactive e-book experience that replicates the thrill of playing these holes at a modest cost. With e-books retailing for around $10 and over 50 million golfers worldwide, even a limited success could produce an excellent result for Empire.”
