CAMBRIDGE, MA — GenArts (www.genarts.com) recently introduced Monsters GT Version 7, a new suite of visual effects plug-ins. Monsters GT features more than 50 effects that are designed to enrich artists’ VFX portfolio.

For the first time, Monsters GT is available in 11 mini-packs for $99 and a Natural Phenomena theme pack for $299. 

Natural phenomena effects include snow, rain, fire, aurora, and sky effects. Other visual effects include film damage, night vision, thermal imaging, TV, paint, and pixel. The collection also include textures and abstract effects, as well as corrective effects such as blurs, clean, lighten and darken.

The plug-ins work with Adobe After Effects, Assimilate Scratch, Eyeon Fusion, The Foundry’s Nuke and Sony Vegas. (Theme and Mini packs are not currently available for Scratch.) Pricing for the full pack is $499. Autodesk system users can purchase the full pack for $999 or upgrade for $199.
