ILM veteran Renita Taylor joins Chicago's Rethink Studios

CHICAGO — Rethink Studios (www.rethinkstudios.tv) has appointed Renita Taylor post producer. She was a former creature technical director at Industrial Light & Magic. Taylor will work with company founder/director of CGI, Brian Bullock, to lead the company to new heights in 2016.

“We are very excited to have Renita join us,” says Rethink EP, Jessica Simmon. “Her broad knowledge base in computer graphics, successful track record and organizational skills make her a much-needed and welcomed addition to the team.”

During her 13-year stint at Industrial Light & Magic, Taylor oversaw a diverse body of work. Among the more notable films Taylor worked on were Rango, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, War of
 the Worlds, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Van Helsing and Men in Black II,

“As a creature TD, I was responsible for setting up and running cloth, hair, flesh and rigid body simulations.” Taylor explains. “Rethink is an incredible group of talented people. I'm honored to be a part of this team, and to share in their passion, hard work and creative vision.”

Rethink Studios is in its fifth year in business.
