SHILO MOVES INTO NEW WEST COAST SPACE

Both locations feature open floor plans with huge work tables where digital artists can collaborate or be grouped together based on the project.

The two locations also have private offices and meeting space, two edit suites, a client area, a production office, a conference room, and a kitchen. In addition, the New York space has a shooting cyc. Technology is virtually identical in each location. The "design floor" consists mostly of Xeon 4 core and 8 core Intel Macs. All of the Intel Macs are set to Dual Boot Mac OS X 10.5 and WindowsXP64 or Vista64.  PowerPCs are also available for After Effects work.

The studio's renderfarm consists of a two HP Blade Chasis and 32 Xeon 8 core HP Workstation Blades with 9G RAM. They also have 10 Boxx Xeon 8 Core render nodes.

For design and animation, Shilo uses Maya, RealFlow, Cinema 4D, and 3DS Max. The render management software is PipelineFX's Qube.
