Harbor names Tony Robins managing director, advertising

NEW YORK CITY — Tony Robins has joined Harbor (harborpicturecompany.com) as managing director, advertising, bringing with him experience in VFX that spans 30 years. Robins joins the studio from The Mill’s New York office, where he spent 14 years as an artist and creative leader, rising from head of 2D to director of operations and then to managing director. 

Some of his career highlights include award-winning spots such as Nike's Michael Jordan-Bugs Bunny, Geico's Hump Day Camel and Bud Light's Game of Thrones Superbowl campaign. He has also worked with major brands that include Samsung, Ford, Mercedes, Porsche, Cadillac, AT&T, Jeep, Aflac, Duracell and Liberty Mutual.

Upon moving to New York City, Robins was hired to start Spontaneous Combustion as ECD, which, under his guidance, grew considerably in two years. He then freelanced for more than five years, working with studios that include Charlex, The Mill and MTV.
