NEW YORK CITY - Creative studio Lvly (www.lvly.tv) recently named Ryan Duggan its new executive creative director. A motion designer and visual effects artist by trade, Duggan joined NYC's Ntropic in 2015, where he spent more than nine years as their creative director. There, he led high-profile experiential and immersive projects, including large-scale installations at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
In 2024, he joined Silver Spoon Animation, further expanding his expertise in mixed reality, experiential and character-driven entertainment storytelling, as well as considerably honing his AI skills. He was working as a freelancer when Lvly president Cara Cutrone asked him to work on a new project.
“It was essentially the work of producing three campaigns all at the same time,” Duggan recalls. “It was a lot of pressure, but it was also a lot of fun. When you're in the thick of it on a challenging project, you get to know people quickly, and the whole team at LVLY was warm, welcoming and super talented. It was clear after working together that this could be a place where I could not only grow creatively, but also contribute to a shared vision for the future."
“Ryan has established himself as a leader in concept development and visual direction through his extensive design background and diverse portfolio," adds Cutrone. "His strategic vision in translating brand objectives into a clear creative direction and his commitment to innovation to help get there are what stood out to me.”
The appointment follows the studio's recent work on Amazon's Super Bowl ad starring Chris Hemsworth.
