PASADENA, CA - Tech startup Swenson AI (swensonmedia.com/ai) was recently awarded first place at the 2026 PCC Business Pitch Competition, which was hosted by the Pasadena City College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), together with the PCC BET Club. The event showcased the region's top emerging startups to a panel of distinguished judges and investors.
Swenson AI, led by founder & CEO Sabrina J. Swenson and co-founder Charlie Pomykal, presented FAST, a software solution designed for the modern creator economy. FAST is an AI-native production management platform that 'Fits All Systems Together.' The AI software unifies teams, automates workflows, and makes media production collaborative and affordable.
Following their presentation, Swenson AI was awarded the first-place title and a $2,000 prize, made possible by a Community Excellence Grant from the PCC Foundation.
"Media production today is fragmented across dozens of tools that don't share context," says Swenson. "FAST replaces that with a single AI-native system that automates workflows, connects teams, and learns how productions operate over time. Instead of managing tools, teams can focus entirely on creating, making production unified, collaborative and affordable."
According to Swenson, the company is preparing a beta launch and pre-seed funding round.
"We are ready to bring FAST to the 10 million modern producers worldwide who are tired of fragmented, expensive workflows."
