Hudson Edit adds audio services, hires Spencer Hall

DETROIT — Creative editorial and post studio Hudson Edit has opened a new audio mixing and recording suite. The room will be operated by Spencer Hall, who recently joined the facility as senior audio mixer/sound designer.

A native Midwesterner, Hall joins Hudson from Ron Rose Milagro Post. He’s adept at mixing both short-form work and long-form entertainment projects. Hall has handling re-recording and mixing for commercials, theatrical features and DVD and Blu-ray releases. In addition to being a Foley artist, he is skilled as editing, ADR, sound design and 5.1 mixing.

Hudson Edit’s audio room also serves as the base for the company’s new affiliation with The Lodge (www.thelodgemusic.com), the New York- and LA-based original music and sound design house. The studio is partnering with Hudson to offer additional services to its agency clients.

“I’m looking forward to leading our audio capabilities and being solely responsible for the sound of Hudson’s work,” says Hall.  “It’s a great chance to continue to work on high-level projects and build relationships, not just with our clients and staff but with the creative talents at The Lodge in New York and LA.”
