Editors' Lounge taking place tonight at AlphaDogs

BURBANK, CA — The Editors’ Lounge “Spring Fling” will take place tonight at AlphaDogs in Burbank (1612 W. Olive Ave., Suite 200), and will feature a number of product demos as well as discussions with several different vendors. Doors open at 6:30pm and presentations begin at 7pm.

Lori Freitag, training and content manager for RE:Vision Effects, will demonstrate some of the company’s most powerful and popular plug-ins for modifying and manipulating video imagery, including DE:Flicker, RE:Match, ReelSmart Motion Blur, and Twixtor. From fixing problem footage to creative enhancements, Freitag will show how the RE:Vision toolset can meet many challenges.

Fereidoon Khosravi, SVP of business development Americas for Venera Technologies, will present information about the company’s file-based, automated QC tool, Pulsar, including a new, pay-per-use version. This is a cost effective solution for smaller facilities and independents. Pulsar offers a wide variety of checks and automated toolsets that integrate anywhere within a workflow.

Editor Brady Betzel will be on hand to talk about 3D modeling and animation for reality television programming. Betzel will emphasize toolsets for editors, including Avid F/X Tools, Adobe After Effects, and Maxon Cinema 4D.

And Anthony Magliocco, VP of business development for entertainment and media technology marketing, will be at the event in support of Venera and RE:Vision.

It is free to attend The Editors’ Lounge, but an RSVP is requested (www.editorslounge.com).
