March 27th Editors' Lounge looks toward NAB

BURBANK — With the 2015 NAB show just around the corner, the Editors’ Lounge is planning its annual “Pre-NAB Discussion Panel.” Now in its 12th year, with humorous anecdotes and off-topic-discussion, the event will be held Friday, March 27 at Key Code Media (270 S. Flower St. Burbank, CA) beginning at 6:15pm.

The Pre-NAB Panel has a tradition of taking each year’s upcoming NAB Show as a starting point for wide-ranging discussion on all sorts of topics that affect post production. One year’s memorable discussion turned viral online by being the first public discussion of Final Cut Pro X. Who knows what this year’s panel might bring to light?

Technology journalist Debra Kaufman will serve as moderator. The panel represents post veterans and rising stars of varied backgrounds, including: Zack Arnold (editor and founder, Fitness in Post), Terence Curren (editor/colorist and CEO of AlphaDogs Post), Mark Raudonis (SVP of Post-Production, Bunim/Murray Productions), Carsten Kurpanek (film editor), and Lucas Wilson (CEO, Revelens).

The Lounge opens at 6:15pm and the panel discussion begins at 7pm. The event is free to attend, but an RSVP is required (http://www.editorslounge.com). Food will be provided courtesy of Key Code Media. Attendees can bring their own beverages.
