SGO's Mistika Boutique adds Dolby Vision certification; Blackmagic support

MADRID, SPAIN — SGO (www.sgo.es) has pre-released a new version of Mistika Boutique, its full-finishing solution for Windows and MacOS. The release brings users upgraded HDR workflows, expanded hardware support and a number of other new features and enhancements.
Officially certified for Dolby Vision color grading and mastering, Mistika Boutique now empowers creatives and post production facilities with the dedicated HDR workflow required for the latest industry standards.

“Dolby Vision certification gives users total confidence in Mistika Technology products and workflow solutions,” notes Geoff Mills, managing director at SGO. “With HDR becoming more accepted and a requirement as a final content deliverable, we are delighted to offer Mistika Boutique and Mistika Ultima customers future-proof solutions that help optimize demanding HDR workflows, allowing them to be ready for projects that come their way.”
Another significant highlight of the new version is integrated Blackmagic Design DeckLink I/O and Precision Panel support.

“We were receiving truly overwhelming demand from the global community asking us to integrate Blackmagic DeckLink video boards ever since the launch of Mistika Boutique,” adds Miguel Angel Doncel, CEO at SGO, adding that the implementation is now complete and went very smoothly due to the support received from Blackmagic Design. “Providing more hardware options will always be a commitment to our users, as it importantly contributes to the accessibility of Mistika Technology software solutions.”

Mistika Boutique users can now manage their render workflows with greater efficiency due to external render farm integration. With the new “Add to Render Queue” feature, a batch of Mistika rnd files can be sent to an external render farm or passed to user-defined scripts, such as those created in Mistika Workflows. The path translation tool provides improved media management and enables the moving of projects between different operating systems.

In addition, the latest release brings a revised subtitle import configuration. Subtitle files can now easily be dragged-and-dropped into Mistika timeline, with users being able to choose between different fonts, adjusting the size, word spacing and other text layout parameters.

Mistika users can now customize Tangent grading panels to their own preference with newly added Tangent Remap functionality.

Currently in Open Beta, further developments in the upgrade include new Red SDK support with many other stability improvements made throughout the software.
