Maldonado’s career began in 1985 as a model maker at R/Greenberg Associates in New York, where an early opportunity on Predator sparked a lasting fascination with the intersection of photography, technology and storytelling. After years as a camera assistant and motion control operator, he joined Digital Domain, working on Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Tron: Legacy and The Social Network. More recently, he worked on Rodrigo Prieto’s Pedro Páramofor Netflix, Extraction 2, David Fincher’s Gone Girl, Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma and Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate.

Wells is a senior VFX executive and producer with decades of experience in live-action production and visual effects across commercials, television and feature films. Her career includes time at Propaganda Films and Digital Domain, before founding Creo Collective, a VFX boutique designed for fast-moving production environments. She also served as an executive producer at FX Cartel, Proof and Buf before moving into business development at Distillery VFX.
