In Alkemy X’s visual effects division, Brian Hayman has joined the company as a VFX compositor in New York. Hayman studied film and television at Boston University, and has since worked across feature films, television shows and commercials.

Cat Shen joined Alkemy X’s visual effects team as a CG generalist. Most recently working as a freelancer, she has been a CG generalist for over five years and has worked on compositing shots, sculpting, creating 3D layouts and rotoscoping figures. Shen earned a degree in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.

And Vincent Cordisco has joined the Alkemy X post production team, bringing with him more than a decade’s experience as an editor. A graduate of Villanova University, Cordisco has worked on projects for Chevrolet, Miller Lite, Pepsi and Lowes.

“Our team has not only been resilient in the face of pandemic adversity, but embraced those challenges as an opportunity to learn, innovate and thrive,” states Alkemy X president/CEO Justin Wineburgh. “As we continue to build momentum, I’m thrilled to fortify our powerhouse team with this lineup of immensely talented individuals as our volume and scope of work continue to expand.”
