Martin is also nominated for the Oscar for Best Film Editing at this year’s Academy Awards, set to take place on March 27th. Her previously nominations include The Fighter (2010) and Little Miss Sunshine (2006).

Hula Post provided Martin with editing space at their West Los Angeles location, while the rest of the team worked remotely from their homes using Hula Post Everywhere. Hula Post supplied four Avid Media Composers editing systems and 20TBs of NEXIS storage. The company had worked with Martin previously on Seberg (2019) and Battle of the Sexes (2017).

“We are so proud of Pam for winning an Eddie,” states Denine Nio, Hula Post’s CEO. “It is a prestigious award for the editing community. We had the privilege of working with her on King Richard and are honored by the opportunity to support her and her team on such an extraordinary movie.”

King Richard tells the story of Richard Williams and his role in shaping the careers of his daughters Serena and Venus, who grew up to become international tennis stars. The Overbrook Entertainment production was released theatrically by Warner Bros. and streamed on HBO Max.
